Social Distinctives

Along with seasonal holiday parties tailored to the social and dietary needs of our students, day-to-day social interaction involves connection with other students across ages and abilities.

On any given day, students in our school may be found involved in a cooking project in our full-service kitchen or creating new decorative items for our upcoming fundraiser. We have a full-service sensory gym that students use regularly, a strong music therapy program, and art program. Students eat together with their class in our lunch room and have daily afternoon snacks. We maintain a hands-on approach that includes all of our students socially and academically. We work to foster social independence while providing needed support.
